WOW! This is such a gorgeous cape – or perhaps a judge’s robe? It dates right around 1900, and it primarily constructed of a wonderful black wool. This piece also features a chintzed linen lining at the top, as well as velvet trim. It feels unused to me – it’s in really great shape. Such a cool find! This cape closes with hooks and eyes. So many possibilities! ~ Lovely for wearing, costumes, theater etc *~ ~*~

MEASUREMENTS : This lovely antiquetextile measures:
length : 40 inches
collar width 17 inches around
The length around the bottom of the cape is 80 inches.

CONDITION : This cloak is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. As stated above, this piece feels unused to me! The hooks and eyes have rusted with time, but otherwise this piece is in fantastic condition indeed!
