Ripped mouth zombie prosthetic
Platinum silicone prosthetic. Encapsulated with acetone baldcap.
Silicone allows you to feel that soft touch and skin resemblance on every prosthetic.
You can glue this prosthetic on your skin by using:
-Telesis
-Pros aide
-Mastix (or spirit gum)
-Any facial glue
For a better result, I recommend using Telesis or Pros Aide. And for a much better one, Pros Aide cream or “bondo” to soften the edges of the prosthetic.
Once you have the prosthetic glued to the skin, you can dissolve the flashing (that thin transparent skin on the edge of the prosthetic) using acetone (you don’t need a specific one. The one to remove nail polish or the one you can buy at a supermarket/drug store it’d be enough)
For painting the prosthetic, you better use alcohol activated paints but if you don’t have those ones, grease or powder paints will use.
Once you want to remove the prosthetic, be careful and gentle to your skin. Don’t tear it apart. I recommend to use Pro Clean or Isopropyl Myristate. If you don’t have this product use any oil-base one. In the case you used Mastix as glue, remove it with IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol).
And remember…don’t hesitate to ask if you have any doubt and to scare everyone you can with your new prosthetic 🙂
